Do it here. What you'll be doing Verizon is looking for an experienced attorney to join the M&A and strategic transactions group. Lead M&A, joint venture, venture capital and other strategic transactions on behalf of Verizon. Work closely with internal clients in the business development team and business units to achieve their objectives. Coordinate and work closely with other subject matter experts in the legal and other departments in Verizon. Independently draft and negotiate term sheets, MOUs and other transaction documents. Manage and coordinate legal due diligence processes. This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager. What we're looking for You'll need to have:
JD degree and six or more years of relevant work experience. Active and in good standing with a state bar and, if necessary, eligible for limited In-House Counsel Licensure. Three or more years of M&A experience at a top law firm. Willingness to travel. Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Professional ethics, integrity and judgment. Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to professionally manage time, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and process a high volume of work in a timely and accurate manner with a high attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently and autonomously, and as part of a team. Proven ability to spot problems and develop and lead implementation of appropriate solutions. Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of personnel and enforce legal requirements. Demonstrated ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
