headquarters for a Director-IT Product Marketing.
position
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, IT (B2C) Product Marketing, the Director will oversee all global product management and business efforts for Samsung Printer, Memory/Storage and PC product categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product strategy, planning, and execution for the consumer business to ensure long term growth and profitability, efficient utilization of capital investment and overarching competitiveness. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who manage the full lifecycle of the company's consumer products and lead the company's consumer vision and corresponding product roadmap. Responsibilities include significant external contact with key retail partners, wireless carriers and OEMs.
Specific responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
oRevenue/Profit Growth - focus on growing business segment with a focus on volume, revenue and profitability.
oChannel Management - Identify and engage the key consumer channels aligned with achieving business objectives.
oMarket Segmentation - clearly defining US market segments and definitions forB2C
oPrice Strategy - creating price strategy with focus on profitability and up-sell.
oBrand/Product Positioning - developing premium brand and product positioning strategies incorporating supporting marketing programs and pricing strategies,
oCompetitive Analysis - conduct routine market and competitive intelligence using data to influence product roadmap and new technology.
oBudget Management - manage team budget from general expenses to marketing programs
oTeam Leadership - Lead and develop team members, attract talent, and grow resources based on business growth to maximize team ROI.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished senior leader who also possesses broad-based business acumen, strong strategic and execution orientation, and excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills. This individual will be a proven product management
executive
with a track record of managing and optimizing product portfolios for financial and strategic return. The successful candidate will not only be a strategic thinker, but able to execute and deliver based on his/her strategy. S/he will be results-oriented, and focused on delivering upon key metrics. S/he will be seen as a highly-collaborative positive individual who is able to communicate at all levels both inside and outside the organization and successfully navigate a matrix management environment.
