Sr. Platform and Web App Developer

Our client has an immediate need for a Sr. Platform and Web App Developer in Basking Ridge, NJ.
This position will be part of the Device Technology organization in the OS and Applications team primarily focusing on new product development initiatives resulting in new revenue streams.
Responsibilities
Working on new products that utilize open web technologies and open source platforms.
Working closely with key device vendors to facilitate technical discussions on new device features/technologies and maintaining a roadmap of the same.
The product management responsibilities include defining product requirements and working closely with the technical development and cross functional teams on a regular basis leading up to final device submission for carrier certification.
Must have a deep technical understanding of the technologies being used and can, on your own, demonstrate the technology using a proof of concept or prototype.
Requirements
5
years working with web application technologies on mobile devices including:
Experience developing web / mobile apps
Experience developing web-based operating systems (required)
Examples: Firefox OS, webOS, Blackberry OS, iOS,Ubuntu Touch, Windows Phone
Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience developing cross-platform native client applications.
Experience with the Android and Web Based (i.e. Firefox, WebOS) operating systems.
Experience with methods common in open source world: version control (git preferred), integration testing, etc.
Experience or readiness to interact with large codebases and distributed teams or readiness to interact with large codebases and distributed teams.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Please be prepared to provide examples of your work.
Additional Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with geographically distributed team.
Participating in and contributing to Open Source projects a huge plus.
Knowledge of Chromium and Firefox extensions is a plus.

Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be able to begin work at the listed location within 3 weeks of an official offer, (relocation is not paid)
A background and drug screen will be required. Possibility for a driving/MVR screen.
