This is a short term assignment to cover maternity leave which may lead to another role.
Manage inbound contacts such as telephone, email and chats
Recognize business critical contacts and route appropriately for action based on urgency and business impact
Organize and manage the VP's meeting calendar
Schedule meetings as necessary insuring that the appropriate people attend, etc.
Calendar must be managed in MS Exchange Outlook
Based on scheduling information, anticipate travel requirements, plan and execute travel bookings using Ordering system.
Provide ad hoc administration for the management team within the corporate development group including time reporting, absence management and expense control
Perform the administrative functions necessary for the submission of vouchers and expenses
Develop presentation material production in PowerPoint, including collating information from various decks and importing Excel data
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Generally requires minimum of 2 yrs. experience.
-Person must have significant work experience in a corporate environment. Able to take initiative and work independently on projects, to devise own methods, approach and procedures in fulfilling assignments.
-Person must be highly organized and able to manage employee sensitive and business information with utmost confidentiality.
-Comfortable working under pressure, managing time, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
-Highly proficient in the use of all MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and also understand the Payroll, and Ordering systems
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-Must be able to prepare correspondence and reports and create all requisite documentation in an acceptable business style.
-Should be able to think logically, pay close attention to detail, establish procedure and follow through until completion.
-Comfortable in a dynamic environment that requires ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
