This role will be responsible for performing data analysis to support Telecommunication device certification creating statistical models to drive the decisions with the aim of reducing the device certification costs while ensuring good device quality.
Data collection and queries from OEMs, test labs, return center, quality center.
Manage and optimize Telecommunication device analytics databases on a daily basis.
Perform data mining to study device performance, quantify device quality, and evaluate device readiness
Visualize the analytical results using data visualization tools. Using Tableau Server to design and implement dashboard to visualize the analysis results.
The candidate should have a solid background in data analysis, wireless, and statistics.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics
Required
Experience:
3-5
years experience in Wireless industry required
Must be proficient in the use of MySQL, Tableau, MS Excel, VBA, TeraData SQL, MS SQL.
Must be proficient in the programming languages of R, Python, VBA, Java Scripts.
Data extraction/transformation/loading, data mining experience required.
Strong analytical capabilities, creativity and critical thinking required
Good mobile telecommunications industry knowledge, including experience with handset manufacturers, network equipment vendors, and/or chipset vendors MySQL, Tableau, MS Excel, VBA, TeraData SQL, MS SQL, R, Python, VBA, Java ScriptsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
